About the Run/Walk for Education
The UNCF Run/Walk for Education is a flagship event that has brought together students, educators, community leaders, and supporters of higher education from across the region for seventeen (17) years. This annual event is crucial for raising awareness and funds to support the mission of UNCF). For over 82 years, UNCF has been committed to providing scholarships, internships, fellowships, and other vital resources to help students attend and graduate from college, particularly those attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). UNCF & City of Orlando Vendor Terms & Conditions
Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the 2025 UNCF Walk/Run for Education. To ensure a safe, fair, and successful event, please read and adhere to the following terms and conditions:
EVENT RULES
Check-In & Setup
Vendor check-in begins at 7:00 AM.
All spaces are first come, first served.
Setup must be substantially complete by 8:00 AM.
Vendors who do not check in or are not set up by 8:00 AM may forfeit their space and registration fee.
Rain Policy: If it is raining at setup time, vendors may wait to set up until rain subsides.
Parking & Load-In
No cars allowed on the event site. Vendors must unload at a designated area and then immediately move their vehicles to a legal parking spot before setting up.
Food trucks may drive up to the site, but must place ½” plywood under each tire and generator, and barricade generators appropriately.
Breakdown
Breakdown begins at 1:00 PM and must be completed by 2:00 PM.
Booth areas must be left clean and free of debris.
Display Guidelines
All displays must be professional in appearance.
No displays taller than 10 feet or extending beyond your assigned space.
All tents must be weighted.
Packaging materials should be stored out of sight.
Booth Activity & Conduct
Activities must be conducted within your booth space. No distribution of flyers, handouts, or other materials outside your space without written approval.
Violations will result in immediate removal without refund.
Security & Liability
Booths must be attended at all times.
Vendors are responsible for their own property. UNCF and the City of Orlando are not liable for loss, theft, or damage.
Booth Sharing & Subletting
Not permitted without written approval.
Food & Beverage Distribution
No food or beverage distribution allowed without written permission from UNCF and the City of Orlando.
No alcohol may be served. No exceptions.
Sound Restrictions
No loud music or amplified voice that may disturb other vendors or guests.
Prohibited Content
No display or sale of illegal, obscene, or pornographic materials. Violators will be removed without refund.
Dress Code
Proper attire is required. All local and state laws regarding decency and obscenity will be enforced.
Professional Conduct
Vendors are responsible for their behavior and that of their representatives and guests.
UNCF staff reserves the right to shut down any booth due to unprofessional behavior.
Product Approval
All vendors must submit a completed application and payment in full before approval.
Only pre-approved items may be sold.
UNCF reserves the right to limit similar vendors and allow only one representative per brand (e.g., Mary Kay, It Works, etc.).
Force Majeure
UNCF and the City of Orlando are not liable for low attendance, weather, or other unforeseen issues.
Rain or Shine Policy
The event will proceed rain or shine.
In the rare event of cancellation, booth fees will be applied to a rescheduled date.
No refunds for inclement weather.
Refund Policy
All vendor fees are non-refundable. No exceptions.
Right of Refusal
UNCF and the City of Orlando reserve the right to refuse, remove, or exclude any vendor at any time.
No Smoking or Vaping
Prohibited in or near vendor booths.
Designated smoking/vaping must be at least 50 feet away from event or vendor areas.
Booth Requirements
Each space is $50.00.
Vendors must provide their own 10×10 tent, tables, and chairs.
Tent weights are required.
Power Supply
No electricity will be provided. Vendors must bring their own power sources if needed.
By submitting your application and payment, you agree to abide by these rules. Violations may result in removal without refund and/or exclusion from future events.
